For as long as we’ve been waiting, it appears the release of Ab Soul’s fourth LP, “DWTW”, is almost ready for distribution.

That’s if Top Dawg has anything to say about it.

Today, Top Dawg tweeted that, under pressure from the fans, Ab Soul better have album done soon. The label CEO is currently  vacationing in Nassau, taking some time away from the country following our election of Donald Trump.

The label bosses have been very particular and assertive regarding the project management aspect of TDE. In October, SZA, seemingly frustrated with her situation as a member of TDE tweeted that she had quit. It was from music, which we assumed, she resigned.

I actually quit . @iamstillpunch can release my album if he ever feels like it . Y’all be blessed .

Isaiah Rashad’s summer release began with a message from TDE co-president Dave Free, pressing Rashad for not yet releasing his project. “The Sun’s Tirade” turned out be among the year’s best projects but not before the ostensible tussle.

While it seems the label runs into frequent roadblocks, TDE was able to release four projects this year via K Dot, ScHoolboy, Rashad, and Lance Skiiwalker.

Let’s just hope the long-anticipated Solo album is as fire as TDE’s other 2016 drops.
